UNEARTH Frontman: 'The DVD Shoot Was An Amazing Time'
October 10, 2007UNEARTH filmed its October 9 concert at the Glass House in Pomona, California for an upcoming DVD. The band's tour with DARKEST HOUR, AUGUST BURNS RED and SUICIDE SILENCE marks UNEARTH's first U.S. trek since their run of dates with DIMMU BORGIR back in April/May 2007. The dates are in support of the UNEARTH's latest album, "III: In the Eyes of Fire", which was released August 8, 2006 through Metal Blade Records.
Commented vocalist Trevor Phipps: "The DVD shoot was an amazing time thanks to Pomona, CA and The Glass House. You all sold out the venue early and a couple hundred people were left stranded outside. We could not have asked for more support from our So. Cal fans. Thank you to everyone who made the night such an awesome time for all.
"As stated before, the show will be part of a two-disc DVD set that will include other live performances throughout our nine year career as well as interviews, behind the scenes footage and other random happenings throughout the years. The DVD is set for a tentative release late winter or early spring 2008.
"We have just under three weeks left on our headlining North American tour with DARKEST HOUR, AUGUST BURNS RED and SUICIDE SILENCE. So far this is one of the best tours we have done in a long time. Packed houses, intimate venues, energetic crowds, good bands to listen to each night as well as everyone being cool to hang with.
"Tickets are available to most of the shows still, but they are going fast so make sure to get them ahead of time or come early to the shows."
